Diane Stark is a wife, a mom, and a writer. She is a former kindergarten teacher and most importantly, a daughter of the One True King. Her goal in life is to become a little more like Jesus every day. (She fails at this on a very regular basis, which causes her to appreciate God's grace all the more.)
Diane writes about the important things in life: her family and her faith. She is the author of a devotional book for teachers and her stories have been published in more than 20 Chicken Soup for the Soul books. She is a regular contributor to several Christian magazines. In 2012, she won a Canadian Church Press Award for her work with The Salvation Army publication, Faith and Friends.
Although she is pleased with her writing accomplishments, what she is most proud of is her family. Diane is blessed beyond measure to be married to the most amazing man. Together, she and Eric are raising a blended family of five children, whose ages range from college to preschool. Her life is often chaotic and crazy, but she knows that she's right where God wants her to be. (She also knows that He's right there with her through the frenzy of her days.)
Diane enjoys reading, writing, cooking, couponing, and spending time with her family. Her favorite things in this life are her kids, her coffee, her computer, and her chocolate. (Not always in that particular order.) She hates her bathroom scale, but loves her crockpot. And she simply could not survive without her best friend and biggest blessing, her husband, Eric Stark, who is always #1 on her list of favorite things.
